Bluetooth Setup for ActiveSync

1. First things first, make sure Bluetooth is operational on your computer. My laptop didn't come with and I had to order it and have it installed.
2. Establish a USB-based connection FIRST through ActiveSync to partner a device successfully (this assumes that you are familiar with ActiveSync connections via USB cable; if not, you should be familiar with it before going further!)
3. On the Tilt, do to Start, Setting, Connections, Bluetooth
4. Click on Bluetooth, Mode
5. Check Turn on Bluetooth
6. Check Make this device visible to other devices
7. Click on Security and check Authentication (Passkey) required – optional I guess
8. Click on Devices
9. Click on Add when other device you are going to connect with has Bluetooth enabled.
10. Now you *should* see ActiveSync as a clickable option for your computer's features. I saw Serial Port and while it allowed me transfer files, it wasn't ActiveSync equivalent.
11. Go to Wireless Manager
12. Click on the ActiveSync icon that has arrows going up and down
13. Select Menu
14. Select Connect via Bluetooth
15. To conserve battery power, it is recommended that when done, you should disconnect.
