HEAVY-DUTY ALL-DISASTERS COMMAND/CONTROL VEHICLE.
Adapting Commercial Command/Control/Communication Vehicles for DHS and DoD Use in Collaborative HA/DR and SSTR Operations

Similar to the Loma Linda University Mobile Medicine/Comms Van, and much more capable than NPS's Nemesis Wireless/Mobile Research Facility, this vehicle is all terrain and is outfitted with all components of a Fly-Away Kit (FLAK), but adds necessary technologies to operate in a CBRN environment. Proposed use is as a platform to experiment with and demonstrate emerging CBRN defend/defeat technologies, including the following capabilities:

• Filtered air
• Multiple hazard sensing capability internally
• Fully MOP gear outfitted crew equipment and suits
• 4 wheel drive, truck tires, rear elevator that can deploy ATVs, robots, wheeled generators, etc.
• Telescopic antenna towers
• Multi-mode video and IR surveillance suite
• Multi-mode fuel source (gas, diesel, electric, etc)
• SATCOM On The Move (SOTM) capable (auto tracking the bird)
